Public Tours
When Parliament is not sitting, guided public tours are available free of charge at 11am and 2pm on non-sitting weekdays. Bookings are not required – the tours are suitable for walk-in visitors.
If you have more than 10 people planning on coming to a public tour, please make a community group booking.

Guided tours explore the original parliamentary chamber in Old Parliament House (subject to availability), and the current House of Assembly and Legislative Council. Visitors learn about heritage features, history and parliamentary processes. Approximate run time is 45 minutes.

The public galleries in both the House of Assembly and Legislative Council are open and free of charge to visitors when the Parliament is sitting.

Watch Question Time
Question Time starts at around 2pm in the House of Assembly and at around 2.15pm in the Legislative Council on sitting days. Question Time is open to the public and free of charge.
Visitors can view question time from the public galleries.
