Roleplay 1894! Suffrage debates at AGSA
Step into 1894: exploring one of SA’s democratic milestones through art and roleplay
The Parliament’s Education Office is popping down to AGSA for Start at the Gallery on 2 February.
To tie in with the Radical Textiles exhibition (where our women’s suffrage commemorative tapestries are currently on display), our team will be running historical recreations of how women got the right to vote in 1894. We’ve got props, wigs and real speeches from 1894.
A family friendly free event, and a great way to explore civics and history concepts through art.
