Risk Assessment
The Parliament does not provide template risk assessment forms for teacher use. For assistance in completing your own risk assessment form, please review our risk assessment information.
School Bag Storage
We have secure bag lockers for student and teacher belongings. Bringing school bags can slow the security screening upon entry. We recommend leaving school bags off site if it is practical to do so.
What To Bring
Water bottles are the only items permitted in the Parliamentary chambers. Please do not bring worksheets to complete. You do not need any supplies for our programs (apart from any sensory/fidget or medical items your students require), everything is available on site.
Food and Drink
Food and drink is not available for purchase at Parliament House.
Fridges are not available for storing items.
Visiting groups often use various food courts in Rundle Mall, or the Adelaide Central Market for meal breaks. If food is packed in student bags, groups occasionally eat at the rotunda in Elder Park.
CBD Experiences
School tours of Parliament House are capped at two classes (approximately 60 students).
If you are looking for other experiences in the CBD, or to occupy additional students who may be waiting for their tour program, the following options are within walking distance of Parliament House.
